Every home is different! One person’s home may take less time to clean than another. At CleaningPros, we take down all the important details about your home to make sure you get a fair, accurate quote.
How Do I Count Full & Half Bathrooms In My Home?
A half bathroom only contains a sink and a toilet. If your bathroom contains a shower or tub, we consider that a full bathroom. For this part of the process, please let us know the TOTAL number of bathrooms in your home. This helps us better understand and visualize your home. You will be able to tell us how many bathrooms you want cleaned in the next step (if any).
For example: If you have one bathroom in your home with just a sink and toilet and another bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower we would say you have 1.5 bathrooms.
How Do You Define a Half Bathroom?
A half bathroom only contains a sink and toilet. If your bathrooms contains a shower or tub, we consider that a full bathroom.
I Don't Know The Exact Square Footage Of My Home
That’s fine! We don’t need exact square footage. As long as you are within a couple hundred square feet, everything will work properly. If you still don’t have any idea what the square footage of your home is, give us a call! Our office team really knows the homes in your area, and they will be able to help you find your approximate square footage.

How Do I Rate The Cleanliness Of My Home?
Good question! Different people have different ideas of what is clean or dirty. It helps if you follow the general guidelines below.
1 (Really Clean) - Your home, or the areas you want us to do, have been professionally cleaned in the past couple weeks.
3 (Clean) - Your home, or the areas you want us to do, have been fully detailed and cleaned by you in the past couple weeks.
5 (Average) - This tends to be your average home. You do a thorough clean every month or two and have done light cleaning (like vacuuming and dusting) on a weekly basis. Things like baseboards and doorframes aren’t kept up as often as you would like.
7 (Dirty) - Your home, or the areas you want us to do, aren’t cleaned that often. It has been over a few weeks since a vacuum has been used, and things like the baseboards and doorframes tend to be neglected.
9 (Really Dirty) - The home has rarely been cleaned. There is a buildup of dust and grime.
10 (Really, Really, Dirty) - If you have to rate your home a 10, we suggest that you contact our office to make your booking. CleaningPros is a general house cleaning company, and we do not clean things like human/pet waste, mold, rot, etc. We also do not assist in hoarding situations. We can do dirty - but we just want to make sure your home is within our scope!
Task group: Professionally Done We start in one corner of each room with a wet and dry microfiber cloth & then we work our way around the room dusting items carefully, cleaning underneath them & then around them. While moving throughout the home we also take the opportunity to clean door handles & light switches.
Task group: Professionally Done All window sills are detailed with a wet & dry microfiber cloth collecting dust & dirt that has accumulated over time or from leaving the window open.
Task group: Professionally Done With our commercial grade vacuum with HEPA filters and the use of several different attachments, we start in the corner of each room vacuuming the floors, underneath beds & underneath furniture.
Task group: Professionally Done We take extra care in high traffic areas such as the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms by washing the floors by hand. All other floors in the home are cleaned with our microfiber mop.
Task group: Professionally Done We start by cleaning the entire door frame with a wet & dry microfiber cloth. We then turn our attention to the front and back of the door itself. We clean the entire door collecting any dirt that has settled into any of the grooves on the door.
Task group: Professionally Done We have a keen eye to spot fingerprints, mark & food splatters on the walls in your home that need our attention. With the use of a wet & dry microfiber cloth we wash each area with care.
Task group: Professionally Done Depending on severity we will use our high duster and/or we will use a wet & dry microfiber cloth to collect any dirt sitting on top of baseboards to thoroughly clean the top & the front of baseboards through the home.
Task group: Professionally Done All reachable light fixtures are dusted on the outside by hand with a wet & dry microfiber cloth. When a light fixture is out of reach we will try to use our one-step step ladder & our extendable high duster to clean the light fixture.

Which Timing Should I Choose?
It’s really up to you and your needs. Obviously the more regular your service is, the more you will be paying overall. But we can give you some generalizations below that fit your needs and budget:
One-Time: You just need some help getting caught up, or you have a special occasion coming up and you want your home to be extra clean.
Monthly: You would like to have a ‘reset’ every month so you never fall too behind on cleanliness. You can find the time to do light cleaning and upkeep during the month (vacuuming and dusting), but you can’t find the time to do that ‘big clean’ that is usually needed each month.
Bi-Weekly: This is our most popular option. It is a mix between the monthly needs above and the weekly needs below.
Weekly: You don’t have any time to clean (or you hate it too much) and you are willing to pay to not do it. If you have us come in on a weekly basis, you won’t have to worry about much, if any, of your cleaning tasks. A clean every week is the perfect amount of time to keep everything maintained.
How Can I Get Another Quote?
You can get as many quotes as you like! We want you to know all of your options before choosing what service is right for you! Once we provide you with your quote below, you can come back up to this section and try out some different options. You can also have each quote emailed to you in the next section.
What If My Appointment Takes Less Time Than Quoted?
You will only be charged for the actual amount of time needed to clean your home. This is something we are really proud of at CleaningPros. Our quotes tend to be more liberal than other companies, but this prevents any negative surprises. We also want to make sure we have enough time scheduled to get your clean done properly. If it ends up taking less time (which is not uncommon), you will be charged less!
Can I Change What I Want Done At A Later Date?
Of course! You’re the one purchasing the service, so you can use it however you like. You can update your requests at anytime by texting, phoning or emailing us. You can even text us the day of your appointment, and we'll make sure your requests get sent to your Pro-Cleaning team. Don’t be afraid to update your service. It’s not a problem for us!
We charge for the actual cleaning time omly. If we end up taking less time? we would credit you the difference.

How Will The Budget I Choose Impact My Clean?
Obviously, the more time you provide means we can get more things done! Think of the difference between 2 and 3 hours. 2 hours is 33% less time than 3 hours. That roughly means that we would get 33% more or less done.
A popular strategy we encourage our customers to use is choose one of the lower times if you are uncertain (2 or 3 hours). If you are happy with the amount of cleaning we can complete in that time, great! Keep it there. If not, slowly increase the time until you find the amount that works best for you.
What Should I Put In My Personal Checklist?
Anything you want! As long as it is related to general house cleaning duties and fits our employee safety policies, we'll work hard to get it done. Put the cleaning duties you dislike the most at the top of your list. This will ensure they get done. For example, if you hate dusting, put it first. If you don't mind vacuuming, put it last. If we don't have time to get to everything, you're only stuck with the tasks you kind of like anyway!
